The Kalwun Integrated Team Care team facilitate Cultural Awareness Training for General Practitioners, General Practice Staff and Allied Health Professionals, Specialists and pharmacy staff working with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community.
Attending the training supports:
Fulfilling the PIP Indigenous Health Incentive requirements for general practice and includes RACGP-accredited TGIICS training.
Access to 11.5 CPD hours for GPs and nurses.
Development of culturally safe practices, understand historical impacts on healthcare engagement and explore opportunities and barriers.
